Ingredients

  • 1 (9 oz.) package BUITONI® Refrigerated Fettuccine, cooked according to package directions, kept hot
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper strips
  • 3 tbsps. butter or margarine
  • 2 tbsps. all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup NESTLE® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup BUITONI® Refrigerated Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated provolone cheese
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Direction

  • Boil water in medium saucepan; add bell pepper, carrots and broccoli. Lower heat to low and cook for 5-7 minutes then drain; put aside.
  • In same saucepan, melt butter on medium heat; mix flour in. Add chicken broth and evaporated milk slowly; cook till mixture thickens and boils, constantly mixing. Mix black pepper, cayenne, provolone cheese and parmesan cheese in till cheese melts; toss with pasta. Add veggies; mix to coat. Immediately serve.
