AIR FRYER LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN WINGS

These zesty air fryer lemon pepper wings pack a punch of bright citrus and peppery flavors. Ingredients
  

  • 1.1 kg chicken wings patted dry
  • 57 g unsalted butter melted
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 190 degrees Celsius.
  • Before cooking, evenly layer the savory lemon pepper mix and a pinch of fiery cayenne pepper onto each chicken wing to infuse it with flavor
  • Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 20-22 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  • Increase the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius and cook for 3-5 minutes more until crispy.
  • Meanwhile, mix melted butter, lemon pepper seasoning, and honey.
  • Remove wings from the air fryer and drizzle with lemon honey sauce.

Notes

  • For best results, pat wings completely dry so the seasoning sticks and they get extra crispy.
  • Arrange wings in a single layer in the basket so they cook evenly.
  • Adjust cook times as needed based on the thickness of the wings and your air fryer model.
  • The honey in the lemon sauce adds sweetness, but you can omit it if you prefer just lemon pepper.
