Ingredients
  

  • 454 grams 1 block extra firm tofu, drained
  • 4 grams 2 teaspoons nutritional yeast
  • 7 grams 2 teaspoons chili lime powder
  • 7 grams 2 teaspoons steak spice seasoning
  • 30 grams 2 tablespoons oil
  • 4 grams 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1.5 grams ¼ teaspoon black salt
  • 1.5 grams ¼ teaspoon liquid smoke

Instructions
 

  • Wrap tofu in a towel and press for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture. Remove from towel and cut into 2.5 cm (1 inch) cubes.
  • In a small bowl, combine oil, liquid smoke, nutritional yeast, chili lime powder, steak spice, turmeric, and black salt. Mix well.
  • Place tofu cubes in a large bowl. Pour spice mixture over tofu and toss gently until coated evenly.
    Crispy air fryer tofu scramble with vegetables and seasoning.
  • Transfer coated tofu cubes to air fryer basket in single layer. Cook at 190 degrees f for 15 minutes, gently stirring halfway through cooking time.
  • Serve scrambled with desired accompaniments like spinach, mushrooms, or tomatoes.

Notes

  • Try adding different spices like cumin or paprika to customize the flavor.
  • For an oil-free option, use water or vegetable broth instead of oil to bloom spices.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, avocado, and hot sauce for a delicious complete meal.
